Delegates invited to Information and Practice sessions
Two two-part Information and Practice Sessions are being offered to delegates and consultants to help them prepare to fully participate in the online sessions of General Synod, 1-2 October. Details for access to the sessions were sent from Dr Nigel Long (Secretary of the Church) to delegates and consultants at their LCA email address on Wednesday 8 September.
The listed times below are ACST (Adelaide). Participants should adjust these to their local time.
SESSION 1
Part 1 Tuesday 14 September 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Part 2 Thursday, 16 September 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
SESSION 2 (a repeat of Session 1)
Part 1 Monday 20 September 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Part 2 Wednesday 22 September 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm
Delegates and consultants are strongly encouraged to participate in these Information and Practice Sessions. The benefits are:
- They will learn how to access the Synod online sessions and how to fully participate.
- They will be able to interact directly with GCB members about the proposals that will come before the 2021 online sessions of Synod. They are urged to make themselves familiar with these matters before the practice sessions.
The Book of Reports (containing all the proposals and reports) and the Book of Nominations were mailed to delegates at the addresses recorded in HRS. The full Book of Reports and its individual sections are also available on this website (Business > Agenda).
